Birmingham Council of Mosques is offering support to individuals who have reverted to Islam. We aim to offer some kind of guidance and help to reverts, as it is reported that many people that revert to Islam feel isolated and feel a sense of loneliness. Some people may not be surrounded by a Muslim family or community and need that little bit of support and encouragement.
We have been supporting reverts for a while now and distributing gift packs for reverts, which include English translations of the Quran Majid, a luxury prayer mat, a tasbee and a books of duas and supplications (in English and Arabic).
Currently, we have the capacity to offer a service for sisters only. However, if you an Islamic brother and would like support please do get in touch and we will sign post you to organisations that can help.
Are you a revert to Islam? Would you like to be part of a supportive community of sisters, from all over the UK, who are in the same situation as you?
Please join our informal whatsapp group to ask questions, tell us about your story, seek emotional support and share the love of Islam!
We are an informal group of professionals, wives, mothers and sisters who like to chat, be kind to one another and offer an ear if you need to talk. We are all from different backgrounds and completely non-judgemental. We aim to come together once a year to relax and enjoy a day out and would love for you to join us!
If you would like to be part of this informal group please email your details to email@example.com, leave us a message on: http://bcmosques.org.uk/contact-us-2/ or phone on 0121-769-0504 and we will add you to our group. We look forward to hearing from you!
