Constitutional Framework

We, as the members of the Birmingham Council of Mosques, are conscious of the commands of Allah (swt), The Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw), The Holy Quran and authentic Ahadith.

The above definitions are based upon the generally held position of the Ahl Al Bayt, the Sahaba (Family and Companions of the Prophet (saw)), the Tabiun (the followers of the companions), the Taba Tabiun (those who follow the followers of the companions), and those righteous Muslims who follow the Quran and Sunnah. This entails the belief in Allah and the Holy Prophet (saw) as the last messenger of God with no Prophet after him.

We Hereby adopt this Constitution of Birmingham Council of Mosques and pledge to abide by its beliefs and provisions.
